As 2020 begins, we face the difficult challenge of responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19), which the World Health Organization declared a pandemic.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain this coronavirus. Please know that we are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation around the clock and have precautions in place to ensure a healthy stay at our facilities, and in those cases in which we are called upon to visit your facilities.

Our operations continue during this time, as we manage the needs of our own employees, while maintaining manufacturing, testing, development and service departments. Our use of communications technologies along with an informed and connected supply chain has enabled us to stay ahead of customer requests, and we continue to forecast contingency plans to ensure we remain in this posture as long as this world-wide situation continues.

Mitsubishi Electric maintains plans to manage continuity of service to our customers and to help minimize the risk of the possible spread of the virus to our own and customer employees and facilities.

  • Continuing essential travel to support our customers and we follow all recommendations published by the CDC as well as all government laws and regulations.
  • Our employees are practicing safe distancing.
  • Mitsubishi Electric has enhanced continuous cleaning and disinfectant requirements for our facilities.
  • Mitsubishi Electric is adhering to all of our customers policies and procedures regarding customer site visits, in person meetings and visitor screening requirements.
  • Mitsubishi Electric employees are not permitted to travel to Level 3 restricted countries.
  • Mitsubishi Electric employees are not permitted to report to work if they have any COVID-19 symptoms.
